The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Thailand participated in Kaset Fair 2025, organized by Kasetsart University from 31 January to 8 February 2025 at the university\u2019s premises.<\/p>\n

The fair, a prominent annual event in Thailand, featured a diverse array of agricultural innovations, food products, and research exhibitions, attracting thousands of visitors.<\/p>\n

Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana presided over the grand opening ceremony, which brought together exhibitors and vendors from across Thailand and beyond.<\/p>\n

In a special gesture of cultural exchange, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, presented a traditional batik painting depicting the Kandy Esala Perahera to Her Royal Highness, symbolizing Sri Lanka\u2019s deep-rooted cultural heritage and the enduring friendship between the two nations.<\/p>\n

The Sri Lanka Embassy\u2019s stall showcased the country\u2019s world renowned Ceylon tea, Ceylon cinnamon and vibrant batik products, drawing significant attention from visitors interested in Sri Lanka\u2019s unique exports. The exhibition provided an excellent platform to promote Sri Lanka\u2019s rich cultural and agricultural heritage. <\/p>\n

The Embassy’s participation at Kaset Fair 2025 reiterated Sri Lanka\u2019s commitment to strengthening trade, cultural and people-to-people ties with Thailand, further fostering economic cooperation between the two nations.<\/p>\n
