Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, welcomed the gathering and reflected on the enduring values of peace, compassion, and goodwill that define the spirit of Christmas and unite people across cultures and faiths. She also solemnly remembered the Sri Lankan nationals affected by Cyclone Ditwah, which caused extensive devastation across Sri Lanka, resulting in the tragic loss of life and widespread displacement of families. The Ambassador expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Sri Lankan community in Thailand and Thai friends for their solidarity, generous support, and contributions towards relief and recovery efforts, noting that such acts of kindness would have a lasting impact on rebuilding lives and restoring hope. <\/p>\n The religious observances were led by Reverend Dr. Manjula Priyantha, Principal & Director of Don Bosco Higher Vocational Education, Sri Lanka who delivered a meaningful blessing and reflection, offering spiritual comfort and underscoring the true essence of Christmas.
