Minister of Health and Mass Media of Sri Lanka Participates in the 20th Asia Media Summit in Siem Reap, Cambodia
The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok facilitated the official visit of Minister of Health and Mass Media of Sri Lanka Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, to participate in the 20th Asia Media Summit held in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 23 July 2025.
Sri Lanka Signs Landmark Agreement with ESCAP-CSAM to Enhance Agricultural Machinery Standards
The Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), through its Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM), signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) during a special ceremony held at CIAME Asia 2025 – Thailand International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition on 23 July 2025 in Bangkok.
The Government of Sri Lanka appreciates the role played by the Government of the United Arab Emirates to assist Sri Lankan nationals in the UAE.
The Sri Lanka Embassy has noted a few video clips circulating in social media which on verification were found to be factually incorrect.
Sri Lankan nationals who test positive to COVID-19 are taken to hospitals and quarantine centres which are well managed and have a high-quality standard.
The Sri Lanka Embassy, Sri Lanka Consulate General Office together with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, welfare organizations and other community and religious organisations are also assisting with the distribution of dry rations and other necessities to Sri Lankan nationals.

වෛද්‍ය පරීක්ෂණ සිදු කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව COVID-19 වයිරසය ආසාදනය වී ඇති බවට තහවුරු වන ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් මෙරට රෝහල් හා නිරෝධායන මධ්‍යස්ථාන වෙත ගෙන යනු ලැබන අතර ඒවායෙහි පහසුකම් හා රැකවරණය යහපත් මට්ටමක පවතී.

கோவிட் -19 வைரஸ் தொற்று கண்டறியப்பட்ட இலங்கையர்கள் மருத்துவ பரிசோதனைகளுக்குப் பிறகு உள்ளூர் மருத்துவமனைகள் மற்றும் தனிமைப்படுத்தல் மையங்களுக்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்படுகின்றனர்.
