Sri Lanka showcased strong commitment to sustainable financing at the Fifth Session of the Committee on Macroeconomic Policy, Poverty Reduction and Financing for Development held in Bangkok.

The Fifth Session of the Committee on Macroeconomic Policy, Poverty Reduction and Financing for Development was held from 19-21 November 2025 at the Unite Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok. The Session was opened by Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). During the opening session, special remarks were made by H.E. Ahmed Mazin, Minister of State for
Finance and Planning of Maldives, Mr. Benjarong Suwankiri, Vice-Minister of Finance of Thailand and the Secretary-General of UNCTAD. The meeting brought together key member States,
including Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Türkiye, the United States of America, and Viet Nam, reflecting strong regional engagement in advancing inclusive and sustainable development financing.

Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok Hosts “Sri Lanka: Your Next Best Destination”, Tourism Promotional Evening, to Mark the 70th Anniversary of Sri Lanka–Thailand Diplomatic Relations

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and Sri Lankan Airlines, organized “Sri Lanka: Your Next Best Destination”, Tourism Promotional Evening, on 24 November 2025 at the Avani Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

COVID-19 අදාළ සියලු රජයේ ආයතන විසින් ගන්නා ලද තීරණ, දත්ත, නව ප්‍රවණතා, නව නීති සහ උපකාර සේවා පිළිබඳව විස්තර එකම ස්ථානයකින් ලබාදීම සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණ නියෝජිතායතනය නව වෙබ් පිටුවක් ඊයේ(27) හඳුන්වාදෙන ලදී.

www.covid19.gov.lk යොමුව ඔස්සේ මෙම වෙබ්පිටුවට පිවිසීමට හැකිය. සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය, ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යාංශය, ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලය ඇතුළු රජයේ ආයතන රැසක් මේ සමඟින් අත්වැල් බැඳගෙන ඇත. මාගේ නිල ෆේස්බුක් පිටුව සහ අනෙකුත් නිල වෙබ් මාධ්‍යවල යාවත්කාලීන විස්තරද මේ වෙබ්පිටුවට ඇතුළත්ය.

www.covid19.gov.lk என்ற முகவரியின் மூலம் இணையத்தளத்தை பார்வையிட முடியும். சுகாதார அமைச்சு, பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சு, ஜனாதிபதி செயலகம் உட்பட அரசாங்க திணைக்களங்கள் பல இதில் கைகோர்த்துள்ளன. எனது உத்தியோகபூர்வ முகப்புத்தக பக்கம் மற்றும் ஏனைய உத்தியோகபூர்வ இணையத்தளப் பக்கங்களும் இதில் உள்ளடக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) launched a new web page yesterday to provide information on decisions, data, new trends, new laws and support services taken by all relevant government agencies on COVID-19. This webpage can be accessed through www.covid19.gov.lk. Ministry of Health, the Defense Ministry and the Presidential Secretariat have joined hands with ICTA in this project.

This webpage also includes updates on my official Facebook page and other official web media.
