Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) approved the resumption of the Exemption from Quarantine (TEST & GO) entry scheme, the reopening of Pattaya and Ko Chang Sandbox destinations, and the reintroduction of the Sandbox Extension programme effective from 1 February, 2022, from 09.00 Hrs. Thailand time.

As part of his official visit to Thailand, Hon. Dr. Upali Pannilage, Minister of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment of Sri Lanka, led a delegation to meet with Associate Professor Khunying Sumonta Promboon, President and the academic staff of the Chitralada Technology Institute, on 22 April 2026.
