Ambassador of Sri Lanka, E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe explores avenues to strengthens collaboration with Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) of Thailand
E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP, met Bhmivisan Kasemsook, the Secretary-General of the Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) of Thailand to explore potential collaborations aimed at enhancing anti-corruption efforts in both nations on 11.10.2024.
Ambassador of Sri Lanka pays homage to Bo Sapling of the Sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree gifted to Thailand
The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand and the Permanent Representative to UNESCAP E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe visited the Wat Vajirathammaram in Ayutthaya recently and attended a ceremonial worship of the sacred Bo Saplin tree of the Sri Maha Bodhi tree of Sri Lanka organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Thailand. The sacred Bo saplin was gifted to Thailand in year 2019 to offer merit to His Majesty Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and also bestow blessings to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun in his reign for peace and prosperity and the people of Thailand.
– The validity period of all types of Visas has been extended for another period of 30 days with effect from 12th May 2020 to 11th June 2020.
All the applicants are kindly requested to,
– Pay the relevant visa fee and get the visa endorsed in the Passport by securing an appointment via https://eservices.immigration.gov.lk/vs on or before 11th June 2020.
– All the visas which expire between March 7th to June 11th 2020, will be exempted from charging overstay penalty.
