Embassy of Sri Lanka Promotes Sri Lankan Products and Tourism at the 70th YWCA Diplomatic Charity Bazaar in Bangkok
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok showcased the Sri Lanka Pavilion at the 70th YWCA Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, held for four days from 06th to 09th November 2025 at CentralWorld Pulse, Bangkok.
Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka joins launch of โLove for Humanityโ project to commemorate 70th Anniversary of Bilateral Relations with Thailand
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe joined the charity event organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital in the Mahidol University. The event was organized to introduce an upcoming charity programme, titled โLove for Humanityโ replacement of Knee for selected patients in Kandy Hospital by the medical team of Orthopaedic โunite of the
Siriraj hospital. This charity programme organized for commemorates the 70th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand and also celebrates the 70th Birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The project will take place 15โ21 November 2025 at the National Hospital in Kandy.
At present, Sri Lanka is praised for its successful handling of the pandemic which are attributed to its highly-skilled medical workers, excellent health care system and the prompt yet holistic approach of the Sri Lankan government.
To acknowledge the exemplary joint effort of Sri Lankan frontline health care workers and the Government against the COVID-19 pandemic, a musical programme titled โArise Sri Lankaโ will be presented on 29th August 2020 at 6:00pm (SL Time) at the Nelum Pokuna in Colombo.
