YWCA Bangkok and ThaiBev Contribute to Cyclone Ditwah Relief Efforts in Sri Lanka
The Royal Thai Government, organizations, and people of Thailand have demonstrated heartfelt solidarity with Sri Lanka in the wake of the devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah, reflecting the longstanding friendship and close ties between the two nations.
Sri Lankaโs Ambassador to Thailand Highlights Womenโs Role in Global Leadership at Stamford University Forum
The Stamford International University, Phetchaburi Campus, hosted a distinguished forum to mark International Womenโs Day 2026, bringing together leading women diplomats, academics, and over 200 participants for an engaging exchange on the evolving role of women in global leadership and diplomacy.
At present, Sri Lanka is praised for its successful handling of the pandemic which are attributed to its highly-skilled medical workers, excellent health care system and the prompt yet holistic approach of the Sri Lankan government.
To acknowledge the exemplary joint effort of Sri Lankan frontline health care workers and the Government against the COVID-19 pandemic, a musical programme titled โArise Sri Lankaโ will be presented on 29th August 2020 at 6:00pm (SL Time) at the Nelum Pokuna in Colombo.
