“Gem Sri Lanka 2027” Launch Strengthens Sri Lanka – Thailand Gem and Jewellery Cooperation
The Gem Sri Lanka 2027 was unveiled in Bangkok on 06 September 2026, bringing together key stakeholders to promote Sri Lanka’s gem and jewellery industry ahead of its fourth edition in January 2027. The launch was organised by the Ceylon Gem & Jewellery Traders Association (CGJTA).
Her Excellency C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP extended warm best wishes and congratulations from the Government and People from Sri Lanka to the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Jakkapong Sangmanee at the reception hosted by Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
