Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya on 21 July 2026 to further strengthen religious and cultural relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka & Permanent Representative to the Kingdom of Thailand E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, participated in the “CTBT@30: 30 Years of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in ASEAN” Youth Outreach Event, jointly organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) in Bangkok.
H.E.(Mrs.) Samantha K. Jayasuriya and Embassy staff met Dr. Nipat Kulabkaw, Chief Business Officer (International) of the Bumrungard International Hospital in Bangkok and his team to discuss on future collaboration and possibilities for partnering with SL private healthcare sector on 04 Nov 2020.
