Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand Visits Wat Phra Dhammakaya to Strengthen Religious Relations
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya on 21 July 2026 to further strengthen religious and cultural relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka & Permanent Representative to the Kingdom of Thailand E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, participated in the “CTBT@30: 30 Years of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in ASEAN” Youth Outreach Event, jointly organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) in Bangkok.

දෙමාපිය පදවිය මෙලොව මිනිසුන් ලබන උතුම්ම ත්යාගය ලෙස හැඳින්විය හැක.
දෙමාපියන්ගේ ආදරය සහ කැපකිරීම් සිහිකිරීමට වසරේ එක් දිනක් නොසෑහෙනවා වූවත් කොරෝනා වසංගතයෙන් මුළු ලෝකයම පීඩා විඳින මේ අවස්ථාවේ තම දුවා දරුවන් වෙත ලංවීමට පවා නොහැකිව අත්යාවශ්ය සේවා වල යෙදෙන සුවහසක් දෙමාපියන් වෙත මාගේ ගෞරවය පිරිනමමි.

பெற்றோர் என்ற அந்தஸ்தை பெறுவது இவ் உலகில் மனிதன் பெரும் மிகப்பெரிய பரிசுகளில் ஒன்றாகும்.
பெற்றோரின் அன்பையும் தியாகத்தையும் நினைவுகூருவதற்கு ஆண்டின் ஒரு நாள் போதாது என்றாலும், உலகம் கொரோனா தொற்றுக்கிருமியால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் இத்தருணத்தில் தங்கள் குழந்தைகளுடன் நெருங்கிய தொடர்பு கொள்ள முடியாமல், அத்தியாவசிய சேவைகளுக்காக தம்மை அர்ப்பணித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் பெற்றோர்களுக்கும் எனது கௌரவம் நிறைந்த வாழ்த்துகள்.
June 01 is the International Parents’ Day.
Parenthood is one of the greatest gifts of all times. Dedicating one day for the year is not sufficient to celebrate and appreciate the love and sacrifice of our parents.
I take this moment to pay my respects to parents in the front line workforce who are tirelessly fighting this COVID-19 global pandemic, whilst having to stay away from their own children.
