Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok Celebrates International Tea Day 2026

The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tea Board celebrated International Tea Day 2026 on 21 May 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit, Bangkok, with the participation of distinguished guests from the Thai Government, diplomatic corps, business community, hospitality sector, academia, media, and friends of Sri Lanka.

COVID 19 උවදුර හමුවේ දෙස් විදෙස් ජනයාට ආරක්ෂිත පරිසරයක් නිර්මාණය කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් සේවය කරන බලධාරීන්, සෞඛ්‍ය සේවකයින්, අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය සේවා සහ ආරක්ෂක අංශ වල සේවය විදේශිකයන් පවා පැසසීමට ලක් කරමින් පවතී. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් මාගේ ස්තූතිය ඔවුන්ට පිරිණැමීමට කැමැත්තෙමි.

My appreciation to the efforts of all relevant authorities, medical staff, essential services and law enforcement authorities in creating an environment of safety while combatting the Covid 19 pandemic which is being appreciated worldwide .
