දීපාවලි පණිවිඩය
ලොව පුරා හින්දු බැතිමත්හු දීපාවලි දින පහන් දල්වමින් අවිද්යාවේ අන්ධකාරය පරදා ප්රඥාවේ ආලෝකය අපේක්ෂාවෙන් පුද පූජාවන්හි නිරත වෙති.
සියලු දනන් සිත් සතන් ආලෝකමත් වේවා යන ප්රාර්ථනය ගැබ් කර ගත් දීපාවලි දිනය එකිනෙකා වෙත හෘදයාංගම ශුභාශීංසන පිරිනමමින් සෙනෙහස හා දයාව බෙදා හදා ගන්නා සංස්කෘතික උළෙලක් ලෙස ද වැදගත්කමක් උසුලයි. ඒ අරුතෙන් ගත් කල සහෝදරත්වයේ අපේක්ෂා පෙරදැරිව වාර්ගික හා ආගමික සංහිඳියාවත්, අන්යෝන්ය අවබෝධයත් වර්ධනය කරනු වස් මෙවන් සංස්කෘතික අංග මනා පිටිවහලක් වන බව මගේ හැඟීමයි.
සමස්ත ලෝකයම කොරෝනා වසංගතය නිසා උද්ගත දැවැන්ත අර්බුද රැසකට මුහුණ දී සිටින මේ මොහොතේ ආගමික වතාවත්හි නිරත වීම මිනිස් හදවත්වලට සැනසිල්ලකි. දීපාවලි සමයේ ඒ සැනසීම වෙනුවෙන් අපේ රටේත් ලෝකයේත් සියලු හින්දු බැතිමතුන් ඒකාත්මිකව දෙවියන් වෙනුවෙන් කැපවනු ඇතැයි මම විශ්වාස කරමි. එය අප අරමුණු කරගත් යහපත් සමාජයක්, සෞඛ්ය සම්පන්න ජන ජීවිතයක් ගොඩ නැගීමට ආශිර්වාදයක් වනු ඇතැයි මම සිතමි.
මේ ආලෝකයේ මංගල්යය සමරන සැමට ඉන් අපේක්ෂිත සතුට මානසික සහනය සැලසේවා යි ප්රාර්ථනා කරමි.

உலகெங்கிலும் வாழும் இந்துக்கள் தீபாவளி பண்டிகை தினமான இன்று அஞ்ஞான இருளகற்றி அறிவொளி பரப்பும் எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் தீபங்கள் ஏற்றி சமயக் கிரியைகளில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர்.
தீபத்திருநாள் தீபாவளி பண்டிகையானது அனைத்து உள்ளங்களிலும் இருள் நீங்கி ஒளிபெற்று நல்வாழ்வு வாழ்வதற்கான பிரார்த்தனையுடன் பரஸ்பரம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் வாழ்த்துக்களை பரிமாறி அன்பையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளும் கலாசார விழா என்ற வகையில் முக்கியத்துவம் பெறுகின்றது. அந்த வகையில் இன மற்றும் சமய நல்லிணக்கத்தையும் பரஸ்பர புரிந்துணர்வையும் மேம்படுத்துவதற்கு இத்தகைய கலாசார விழாக்கள் பெரிதும் உதவும் என்பது எனது கருத்தாகும்.
முழு உலகமும் கொரோனா நோய்த்தொற்றின் காரணமாக பல்;வேறு பாரிய பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு முகம்கொடுத்துள்ள இச்சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் சமயக் கிரியைகளில் ஈடுபடுவது மனித உள்ளங்களுக்கு அமைதியை தருகின்றது. இந்த தீபத் திருநாளில் அந்த அமைதிக்காக எமது நாட்டிலும் உலகெங்கிலும் வாழும் அனைத்து இந்துக்களும் ஒருமனதாக கடவுளுக்காக அர்ப்பணிப்புகளை செய்வர் என்பது எனது நம்பிக்கையாகும். அது சிறந்ததோர் சமூகத்தையும் ஆரோக்கியமான வாழ்வையும் கட்டியெழுப்பும் எமது நோக்கத்திற்கு ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையும் என நான் எண்ணுகின்றேன்.
இந்த தீபத் திருநாள் தீபாவளி பண்டிகையை கொண்டாடும் அனைவருக்கும் அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கும் உள அமைதி கிடைக்க எனது பிரார்த்தனைகள்.

Hindu devotees across the globe light up lamps and engage in religious observances with the expectation of dispelling darkness of ignorance and illuminating wisdom.
Deepavali festival is a renowned cultural celebration where the devotees extend wishes of enlightenment and share greetings with love and compassion. In my view, cultural festivals of this nature provide great opportunity to build communal reconciliation and mutual understanding among the people and empower ethnic and religious harmony.
At a time when the entire world is facing unprecedented difficulties due to COVID -19 pandemic, such an opportunity to observe and celebrate one’s own religious beliefs is, indeed, a consolation. I believe Hindu devotees living in the country and overseas would jointly commit themselves to God to seek solace during this Deepavali festive season. I believe it would be a blessing for our objective to establish a righteous society and a healthy in the country.
Finally, I wish all those who celebrate this festival of enlightenment would attain the inner peace they expect.
