Colonne called on President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand, Chuan Leekpal, at the Parliament House “Sappaya-Sapasathan” in Bangkok on 11 March 2022 and discussed on strengthening relations between two countries.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, held a productive meeting with Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand on 14th January 2025. The meeting reinforced the long-standing and cordial bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Thailand, built upon shared cultural, religious, and trade ties.
