Sri Lanka Ambassador to Cambodia Chaminda Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted a farewell audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni on 22nd July 2024
On 22nd July 2024, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP), C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted an audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia to bid farewell at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.

Expanding Sri Lanka’s export basket to Thailand, the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok, introduced the National Crafts Council of Sri Lanka and prominent Sri Lankan businessmen to CP Group which owns renowned retail chains, Lotus’s, Macro and Seven Eleven in Thailand.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued its fourth notification extending a ban on international passenger flights to Thailand for another month. CAAT explains the need to continue measures against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in order to effectively prevent and control the spread of the virus.
According to this notification issued on 27 April 2020, the ban will be extended from 1 May 2020, at 00.01 hr to 31 May 2020, at 23.59 hr. All flight permits granted for that period will be canceled.
