The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok commemorated the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka with elegance and national pride on 23rd February 2026 at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Bangkok.

Sri Lanka Pavilion Shines at 73rd Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok facilitated Sri Lanka’s significant participation at the 73rd edition of the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair (BGJF), currently being held from 22–26 February 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

On 29th November 2019, H.E. the Ambassador (Mrs.) Samantha Jayasuriya visited the Institute of Security and International Studies (ISIS) of the Chulalongkorn University, and held discussions with Mr. Thitinan Pongsudhirak, Associated Professor and Director of ISIS on awide range of issues related to relation between Sri Lanka and Thailand and ASEAN.


