Sri Lanka Ambassador to Cambodia Chaminda Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted a farewell audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni on 22nd July 2024
On 22nd July 2024, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP), C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted an audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia to bid farewell at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.

The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka promoted Sri Lankan products at the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) Global Sourcing Expo 2024
Expanding Sri Lanka’s export basket to Thailand, the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok, introduced the National Crafts Council of Sri Lanka and prominent Sri Lankan businessmen to CP Group which owns renowned retail chains, Lotus’s, Macro and Seven Eleven in Thailand.
The Thai government has extended the visa relief measures until 31 July 2020 for foreigners in Thailand who have been affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) while traveling in the country.
The extension of the visa relief measures was officially announced in the Royal Thai Government Gazette yesterday, 24 April, 2020, and will come into effect from 1 May until 31 July, 2020. It followed the first round of visa relief measures, from 26 March – 30 April, 2020.
