Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe presented Letters of Credence to the Executive Secretary Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana of UNESCAP on 13th September 2024 at the UNESCAP Secretariat in Bangkok.

Sri Lanka Pavilion Shines at the 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair

The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka inaugurated the Sri Lanka Pavilion at the prestigious 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair on 09 September 2024. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, officially inaugurated the Sri Lanka Pavilion, marking a significant milestone in the collaboration between Sri Lanka and Thailand in the gems and jewellery sector.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Kingdom of Thailand extends warmest best wishes on the happy occasion of the 70th birthday of His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of the Kingdom of Thailand. Great services rendered by His Majesty the King and the Royal family will ever be remembered by people of Sri Lanka.
