Sri Lanka Showcases Its Creativity at the Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition 2026

Sri Lanka participated in the Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition 2026, an international initiative showcasing the cultural identities of more than 100 countries through contemporary fashion designs incorporating Thai silk. The initiative was organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of Thai Silk and Culture.

‘Never Give Up; Perseverance is the best teaching of Buddhism to survive in a pandemic’ H.E. (Mrs.) Samantha K. Jayasuriya, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand said as a guest speaker at the International Seminar on ‘The Survival of Buddhism in the New Normal’ organized by the International Buddhist Studies College of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Thailand to commemorate its 133 Anniversary on 12 September 2020, 01:00 PM at meeting room 1, Conference Hall, MCU, Wangnoi, Ayutthaya.
