The Stamford International University, Phetchaburi Campus, hosted a distinguished forum to mark International Women’s Day 2026, bringing together leading women diplomats, academics, and over 200 participants for an engaging exchange on the evolving role of women in global leadership and diplomacy.
Her Excellency C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne, Ambassador and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP led the Sri Lanka delegation for the Third Ministerial Conference on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration in Asia and the Pacific today. The Conference is focusing on how regional economic cooperation and integration through market integration in terms of trade and investment value chains and seamless connectivity in terms of transport, energy, and ICT, can enable resilience to future crises, in an inclusive and sustainable manner. This conference is held from 28th to 30th September 2022 at United Nation Conference Center of UNESCAP Bangkok, Thailand.
Delegates are discussing how to 💪strengthen regional integration, which is more important than ever to ensure that 🚒trade and 🏧investment continue to serve as effective means for achieving the SDGs.
