Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, held a productive meeting with Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand on 14th January 2025. The meeting reinforced the long-standing and cordial bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Thailand, built upon shared cultural, religious, and trade ties.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, met with Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), on 10 th January 2025 to discuss enhancing trade, investment, tourism and industrial collaboration between Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Ambassador Nagesh Singh attended the International Harvest Festival #pongal celebrations organised by Thailand Tamil Federation in Bangkok on 12 February. 2023. The event was also attended by H.E. Chaminda Colonne, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, diplomats from Embassy of Malaysia, Bangkok & people of Tamil origin living in Thailand.
