The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Thailand highlighted the growing partnership between Sri Lanka and Thailand in the areas of education, professional development, and capacity building at the Closing Ceremony of the Professional Development Programme on “Women Leadership in the Banking Sector”, held on 27 June 2026 at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.

With the 4th of February marking the 75th Anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Embassy in Thailand celebrated the occasion under the theme ‘Namo Namo Matha Let’s Leap Towards the Centenary’.
