Ambassador and Permanent Representative Wijayanthi Edirisinghe attends Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Board of Trustees Meeting

Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka Wijayanthi Edirisinghe honored to participate in the Board of Trustees Meeting and Presidential Handover Ceremony at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) held on 22nd August 2024 in Bangkok. A warm welcome was extended by the President and the Board of Trustees of AIT to Ambassador Wijayanthi Edirisinghe attended first time. The Head of Chancery, A.W.S. Samanmali also joined the Board of Trustees Meeting from the Mission.

H.E.(Mrs.) Samantha K. Jayasuriya and Embassy staff met Dr. Nipat Kulabkaw, Chief Business Officer (International) of the Bumrungard International Hospital in Bangkok and his team to discuss on future collaboration and possibilities for partnering with SL private healthcare sector on 04 Nov 2020. Bumrungard International Hospital is an internationally accredited, multi-specialty hospital located in the heart of Bangkok, and it is the largest private hospital in Southeast Asia, with 580 beds and over 27 specialty centers with state-or-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic and intensive care facilities in a one-stop medical center.
