Sri Lanka and Thailand Explore New Horizons in Economic Education Collaboration

Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to Thailand, H E Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, met with Professor Peera Charoenporn, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Thammasat University on 16 September 2025 at the University premises to discuss new avenues for enhancing educational collaboration between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced that the government has extended the visa amnesty for foreigners stranded in Thailand to 31 October after it expired on 26 September.

Stranded foreigners who wish to stay in Thailand after 31 October must submit an application to an Immigration office by 31 October.
