Embassy of Sri Lanka and TSLCC Organize Business Forum for Visiting Deputy Ministers with the Business Community in Thailand
The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Thailand, in collaboration with the Thai-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce (TSLCC), successfully organized a Business Forum with the Sri Lankan and Thai business community on 02 July in Bangkok.
Sri Lanka Showcases Strong Commitment to Regional Environmental Cooperation at 09th ESCAP Committee Session on Environment and Development
The Sri Lankan delegation, led by Hon. Anton Jayakody, Deputy Minister of Environment, actively participated in the Ninth Session of the Committee on Environment and Development (CED-9) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), held in Bangkok from 1 to 3 July 2026.
The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced that the government has extended the visa amnesty for foreigners stranded in Thailand to 31 October after it expired on 26 September.
Stranded foreigners who wish to stay in Thailand after 31 October must submit an application to an Immigration office by 31 October.
