on 1 July at the age of 93 years. Affectionately called as “Aunty Sybil” by over several generations of kids, with her unique style of storytelling and arts, she won many accolades for her work spanning 70 years. Her recent work titled ‘Wonder Crystal’, was entered into the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’, in March 2020, which had in its printed version 1200 different endings, selected from among over 20,000 creations sent by children to mark this year’s International Children’s Day. We join in bidding farewell to ‘Aunty Sybil’… May she attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana!
