The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe and the Embassy Staff paid a courtesy visit to the revered Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Wat Pho Temple) where she met with the esteemed Abbot, Most Venerable Phra Thepsithikarn.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka Engages with Chairman of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand to Strengthen Bilateral Trade Ties

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe held a productive discussion with the Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, Sanan Angubolkul on 01 October 2024. The discussion focused on enhancing the long-standing relationship between Sri Lanka and Thailand, particularly in the areas of trade, investment and tourism.

Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok participated at the 2nd YWCA Christmas Charity Bazaar at Central World, Bangkok from 20 – 26 December 2021.

Varieties of Dilmah Tea were attracted by the customers visited the Bazaar. The Bazaar was a great platform to promote premium and quality Ceylon Tea.


