

Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Thailand meets Executive Committee of the Thai-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce to discuss 2025-2027 strategic plan
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Mrs. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, recently had a meeting with the Executive Committee of the Thai–Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce (TSLCC) to discuss the strategic plan for the period from 2025 -2027 of the TSLCC, at the Embassy premises in Bangkok.

A three-month Temporary Ordination Programme for 33 Sri Lankans was organized on 7 July 2025 at Wat Dhammamongkol Temple, Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
Today, 17 March 2021, Ambassador (designate) of Sri Lanka to Thailand Chaminda Colonne met the Executive Members of Thai-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce at the Embassy. President Akram Saroof, Vice President Sanjeewa Ediri Wickramasuriya, Secretary Januka Dilan Samarakoon, Treasurer Lal Silva and Executive Directors Somsong Sachaphimukh, S.S. Phool, Wichak Suwancharoen and Sisira Mendis were present and they assured fullest cooperation towards furthering of economic-trade ties, investment and tourism promotion between Sri Lanka and Thailand, in line with the economic diplomacy priorities of the Sri Lanka’s new Foreign Policy directives. First Secretary Saritha Ranatunga also associated with the Ambassador.
