On 22nd July 2024, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP), C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted an audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia to bid farewell at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.

with the TAMAP Project of the Finance Ministry in Sri Lanka, H.E. (Mrs.) Samantha K. Jayasuriya and the Embassy staff joined for the third online meeting which was joined by Dr. Indu Bandara, Director General of the Department of Census and Statistics, Sri Lanka and the team, Dr. Nihal Atapattu, Team Leader of TAMAP Project of the Ministry of Finance to discuss on improving the quality and reliability of agricultural statistical system and techniques in gathering data in Sri Lanka. The discussion will expand incorporating all key stakeholders and explore possibilities of tapping into expertise, both bilateral and multilateral, available in Thailand. The Census and Statistics Department will soon release an important analytical report – The National Statistical Review of Sri Lanka.
