On 22nd July 2024, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP), C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne and Spouse Stephen Senanayake was granted an audience by His Majesty King Preah Bat Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia to bid farewell at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.

Foreign Secretary Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage was interviewed on Sirasa TV1 on 05 January 2021 where he explained about the repatriation process of Sri Lankan’s overseas and the revival of the tourism industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
