Mahinda Rajapaksa sworn in as Prime Minister

The leader of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Mahinda Rajapaksa sworn in as the 13th Prime Minister of Sri Lanka before President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. The swearing in was held today (09) morning at the historic Kelaniya sacred land. Mahinda Rajapaksha, who was appointed as the Prime Minister for the fourth time, has been appointed as the Executive President twice from 2005 to 2015 Mahinda Rajapaksha claims a years of political history. Mahinda Rajapaksha who entered the parliament in 1970 did a great job as a cabinet minister from 1995 to 2004 He was appointed as the Prime Minister for the first time on April 2004, 06, was sworn in as the Prime Minister for the second time on 2018 October 26 and for the third time on 2019 November 21 Mahinda Rajapaksha, who was the executive president for 10 years, was able to take the country to a rapid development by removing the terrorism that lasted for about thirty years. Mahinda Rajapaksha, who contested for the general election in Kurunegala district, got 527,364 votes and joined the history with the highest number of votes a candidate in an election. Mahinda Rajapaksa joins history as the first person to serve twice as the Executive Presidential post four times. The Maha Sangha worshiped Seth Pirith and blessed the new Prime Minister. The President and the Prime Minister went to the Vihara Mandir and engaged in religious rituals after the swearing in. After the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister, the President went to the people around the Prime Minister and paid homage to them. Maha Sangha and other religious priests, governors, presidential secretaries, ambassadors, new MPs and family relatives who were elected to the parliament from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and support the new government were present at the occasion.

මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ධූරයේ දිවුරුම් දෙයි …. ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ නායක මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ 13 වැනි අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා ලෙස ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා ඉදිරියේ දිවුරුම් දෙයි. දිවුරුම් දීම අද (09) පෙරවරුවේ ඓතිහාසික කැලණිය පුද බිමේ දී සිදු කෙරිණ. සිව් වැනි වරටත් අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ධූරයට පත්වූ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා 2005 සිට 2015 දක්වා දෙවතාවක් විධායක ජනාධිපති ධූරය හෙබවීය. මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා පනස් වසරක දේශපාලන ඉතිහාසයකට හිමිකම් කියයි. 1970 වසරේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට පිවිසි මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා 1995 වසරේ සිට 2004 දක්වා කැබිනට් අමාත්‍යවරයෙකු ලෙස සුවිශාල කාර්ය භාරයක් ඉටු කළේය. 2004 අප්‍රේල් මස 06 වැනිදා පළමුවරට අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ධූරයට පත් වූ එතුමා 2018 ඔක්තෝබර් 26 වැනිදා දෙවැනි වරටත්, 2019 නොවැම්බර් මස 21 වැනිදා තෙවැනි වරටත් අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ධූරයේ දිවුරුම් දුන්නේය. වසර 10ක කාලයක් විධායක ජනාධිපති ධූරය හෙබ වූ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා තිස් වසරක පමණ කාලයක් පැවති ත්‍රස්තවාදය මුලිනුපුටා දමා වේගවත් සංවර්ධනයකට රට රැගෙන යාමටත් සමත් විය. කුරුණෑගල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් මෙවර මහ මැතිවරණයට තරග කළ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා මනාප 527,364ක් ලබා ගනිමින් මැතිවරණයකදී අපේක්ෂකයෙකු ලබාගත් වැඩිම මනාප සංඛ්‍යාව ගෙන ඉතිහාසයට එක් විය. විධායක ජනාධිපති ධූරයේ දෙවරක් සේවය කොට අග්‍රමාත්‍ය ධූරයට සිව් වතාවක් පවත්වූ පළමුවැන්නා ලෙස මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා ඉතිහාසයට එක් වෙයි. මහා සංඝරත්නය සෙත් පිරිත් සජ්ජායනා කර නව අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා වෙත ආශිර්වාද පළ කළහ. දිවුරුම්දීමෙන් අනතුරුව ජනාධිපතිතුමා සහ අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමා විහාර මන්දිරය වෙත ගොස් ආගමික වතාවත්වල නිරත වූහ. අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ධූරයේ දිවුරුම්දීමේ උත්සවයෙන් පසු ජනාධිපතිතුමා අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමා අවට රැස්ව සිටි ජනතාව වෙත ගොස් ඔවුනට සිය ආචාරය පුද කළහ. මහා සංඝරත්නය සහ අන්‍යාගමික පූජකවරු, ආණ්ඩුකාරවරු, ජනාධිපති ලේකම්, තානාපතිවරු, ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණෙන් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට තේරී පත් වූ හා නව රජයට සහාය පළ කරන නව මන්ත්‍රීවරු සහ පවුලේ ඥාතීහූ ඇතුළු පිරීසක් මේ අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.
