The Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of Sri Lanka, Chathuranga Abeysinghe, undertook an official visit to Thailand to participate in the UNDP Youth Co Lab Summit, held in Bangkok, where policymakers, development partners, entrepreneurs, and youth leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region gathered to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable and inclusive economic development.
Embassy of Sri Lanka and TSLCC Organize Business Forum for Visiting Deputy Ministers with the Business Community in Thailand
The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Thailand, in collaboration with the Thai-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce (TSLCC), successfully organized a Business Forum with the Sri Lankan and Thai business community on 02 July in Bangkok.
A Mini Art Exhibition was co-organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka together with the Institute of Asian Studies of the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, to mark the 65th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Sri Lanka. The unique ‘Yukyur Arts’ by Ambassador (Rtd)Poldej Worachart displayed places of interest in Sri Lanka. He served as Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka and Maldives, and the Yukyur arts initiated by him presents delicate work of circular drawings needing greater levels of imagination, concentration and creativity. The Hon, Minister of Culture of Thailand and South Asian Diplomats joined the opening of the mini exhibition held at the Chulalongkorn University.
