Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand Visits Wat Phra Dhammakaya to Strengthen Religious Relations

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya on 21 July 2026 to further strengthen religious and cultural relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka & Permanent Representative to the Kingdom of Thailand E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, participated in the “CTBT@30: 30 Years of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in ASEAN” Youth Outreach Event, jointly organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) in Bangkok.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok initiated a virtual discussion on 23 Sep 2020 to connect the Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Panasonic Automotive and experts from SLINTEC and EDB to discuss on the potential exports of Sri Lankan Graphite/Graphene based products to automotive industry.


