Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya attends in 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok

Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, participated in the 6th Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit held in Bangkok, Thailand on 3–4 April 2025. The Summit, hosted under the theme of regional resilience and prosperity, brought together leaders of the seven BIMSTEC Member States to strengthen cooperation and chart a forward-looking agenda for the region.

To raise awareness, as both Sri Lanka and Thailand are gradually preparing for welcoming tourists in the context of post COVID 19, Ambassador H.E. (Mrs.) Samantha K.
