Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya on 21 July 2026 to further strengthen religious and cultural relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka & Permanent Representative to the Kingdom of Thailand E.A.S Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, participated in the “CTBT@30: 30 Years of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in ASEAN” Youth Outreach Event, jointly organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) in Bangkok.
สถานเอกอัครราชทูตและผู้แทนถาวรศรีลังกา ประจำกรุงเทพฯ ได้จัดการเดินทางให้คณะผู้แทน 7 คน นำโดย นายสนั่น อังอุบลกุล ประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทย และสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย เพื่อเข้าร่วมงาน International Industry Expo-2024 และการประชุมสุดยอดการลงทุน DigiEcon Global Investment Summit ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในศรีลังกาเมื่อไม่นานมานี้
ในระหว่างการเยือน นายสนั่น อังอุบลกุล และคณะผู้แทนได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ ดร. รเมศ ปาทิรณะ (Dr. Ramesh Pathirana) รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม รวมทั้งได้มีการประชุมกับ นายเอ.เอ็ม.พี.เอ็ม.บี. อตาปัตตู (A.M.P.M.B. Atapattu) เลขาธิการกระทรวงการค้าพาณิชย์ และความมั่นคงทางอาหาร เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางความร่วมมือส่งเสริมการค้าทวิภาคีและการลงทุน
นอกจากนี้ ข้อตกลงความร่วมมือระหว่างสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทยและหอการค้าแห่งประเทศศรีลังกา ซึ่งลงนามแล้วในปี 2531(1988) ยังได้รับการขยายระยะเวลาข้อตกลงในระหว่างการเยือนครั้งนี้ ณ หอการค้าแห่งประเทศ ศรีลังกา
