Sri Lanka added colour to Thailand’s most anticipated fashion and cultural showcase, the 14th Celebration of Silk: Thai Silk Road to the World, held on 21 June 2025 at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall in Bangkok.
เมื่อวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2024 นางจมินทะ โกโลนเน เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำราชอาณาจักรไทยและผู้แทนถาวรประจำคณะกรรมการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งสหประชาชาติสำหรับเอเชียและแปซิฟิก (UNESCAP) และนายสตีเฟ่น เสนาในเก คู่สมรส ได้รับพระราชทานพระบรมราชวโรกาสให้เข้าเฝ้าทูลละอองธุลีพระบาท จากพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรเมนทรรามาธิบดีศรีสินทรมหาวชิราลงกรณ พระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 10) และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุทิดา พัชรสุธาพิมลลักษณ พระบรมราชินี เพื่อเข้าเฝ้าทูลละอองธุรีพระบาทกราบบังคมทูลลา ในโอกาสที่จะพ้นจากหน้าที่ ณ พระที่นั่งอัมพรสถาน พระราชวังดุสิต
ในระหว่างการเข้าเฝ้าฯ กราบบังคมทูลลา นางจมินทะ โกโลนเน เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศไทย และนายสตีเฟ่น เสนาในเก คู่สมรส ได้มีโอกาสแสดงความขอบคุณต่อพระกรุณาของพระมหากษัตริย์และพระราชินี สำหรับความอบอุ่นที่ได้รับจากประชาชนชาวไทย ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์อันดีและยาวนานระหว่างศรีลังกาและไทยที่มีพื้นฐานมาจากพระพุทธศาสนานิกายเถรวาท
