Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok Organizes Promotional and Networking Session for Sri Lanka EXPO 2027
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok organized a “Sri Lanka EXPO 2027 – Promotion and Networking Session” on 07 October 2026 in Bangkok, with the participation of prospective Thai business representatives, investors, buyers, industry stakeholders and journalists.
Sri Lankan Ambassador Meets Thai Minister of Public Health
H.E. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to Thailand, held discussions with the H E Pattana Promphat, Minister of Public Health of Thailand on 30 September 2026. The meeting highlighted the longstanding and close relations between Sri Lanka and Thailand, underpinned by strong bonds of friendship, cultural and religious affinity, and longstanding cooperation in a range of areas. The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
วันที่ 19 ธันวาคม 2566 เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศไทย จมินทะ โกโลนเน เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย สุดาวรรณ หวังศุภกิจโกศล ณ กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย
รัฐมนตรีสุดาวรรณ หวังศุภกิจโกศล ให้การต้อนรับเอกอัครราชทู จมันทะ โกโลนเน อย่างอบอุ่น และ
เอกอัครราชทูตได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีแก่การได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นรัฐมนมตรีใหม่
รัฐมนตรีสุดาวรรณ หวังศุภกิจโกศล ยินดีอย่างยิ่งในการสนับสนุนและให้ความร่วมมือเพื่อ
ความสัมพันธ์ไทย-ศรีลังกาในด้านการท่องเที่ยว โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการกระตุ้นการท่องเที่ยวเชิงพระพุทธศาสนา
และการแลกเปลี่ยนการท่องเที่ยวแบบสองทาง (two-way Tourism)
เอกอัครราชทูตได้ขอความร่วมมือท่านรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทยให้มีการส่งเสริมนักลงทุนชาวไทยไปลงทุนในภาคอุตสาหกรรมการโรงแรมและการท่องเที่ยวในศรีลังกา
เอกอัครราชทูตยังเน้นย้ำว่าเมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้รัฐบาลศรีลังกาได้ยกเว้นวีซ่าฟรีสําหรับคนไทยเพื่อการส่งเสริมให้ศรีลังกาเป็นจุดหมายของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย
ตามคำเชิญของเอกอัครราชทูต จมินทะ โกโลนเน มอบให้แก่รัฐมนตรีสุดาวรรณ
หวังศุภกิจโกศล ให้ไปเยือนศรีลังกาในเวลาที่สะดวกในอนาคตอันใกล้ ซึ่งท่านรัฐมนตรีให้การตอบรับอย่างอบอุ่น
