Sri Lanka Showcases Its Creativity at the Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition 2026
Sri Lanka participated in the Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition 2026, an international initiative showcasing the cultural identities of more than 100 countries through contemporary fashion designs incorporating Thai silk. The initiative was organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of Thai Silk and Culture.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok organized a “Sri Lanka EXPO 2027 – Promotion and Networking Session” on 07 October 2026 in Bangkok, with the participation of prospective Thai business representatives, investors, buyers, industry stakeholders and journalists.
เมื่อวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นาย ฮานส์ กัตมัน ผู้อำนวยการบริหารศูนย์เตรียมความพร้อมป้องกันภับพิบัติ แห่งเอเชีย (ADPC) เข้าคาราวะเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาและผู้แทนถาวรประจำประเทศไทย และสมาชิกคณะกรรมการบริหารศูนย์เตรียมความพร้อมป้องกันภัยพิบัติแห่งเอเชีย นาง ซี เอ ชามินดา ไอ โคลอนเน ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกา กรุงเทพฯ โดยได้มีการหารือในเรื่องของภาวการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นและอนาคต ในศรีลังกา รวมไปถึงการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่าง ADPC และศรีลังกา ทั้งนี้ นาย อสลาม เปอร์เวซ รองผู้อำนวยกรรมการบริหาร ADPC นางอภิษฎา เวชกิต เจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงานด้านความเป็นหุ้นส่วนและ การมีส่วนรวมของผู้มีส่วนได้เสีย รวมไปถึง นางสามานมาลี เลขานุการเอก และผู้ช่วยกับดูแลงานบริหาร และนางวิเรชิก้า บันดาลา เลขานุการเอก ฝ่ายการค้า ต่างเข้าร่วมกันการประชุมข้างต้น
