Sri Lanka and Cambodia Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Cooperation in Combating Cybercrime, Human Trafficking and Transnational Organized Crime
As part of her official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Cambodia, H.E. E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry of Interior on 04 August 2026. The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Sri Lanka and Cambodia to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in addressing transnational organized crime, combating cyber-enabled fraud and human trafficking, and enhancing consular collaboration.
Sri Lanka Inaugurates its First Honorary Consulate in Cambodia, Marking a New Chapter in Bilateral Relations
Marking a significant milestone in the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and Cambodia and reaffirming the shared commitment of both countries to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka officially inaugurated its first Honorary Consulate in the Kingdom of Cambodia on 05 August 2026 at the historic Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh.
เมื่อวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศไทยและผู้แทนถาวร นาง ซี เอ ชามินดา ไอ โคลอนนี่ เป็นประธานการประชุมออนไลน์ว่าด้วยการยกระดับความร่วมมือกับสำนักงานความร่วมมือพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน
ทั้งนี้ การเยือนของผู้นำระดับสูงระหว่างสองประเทศและการสนับสนุนของสพพ.สำหรับการจัดตั้งสำนักงานบริหารหนี้สาธารณะในศรีลังกา เป็นประเด็นหารือในการประชุมครั้งนี้

รวมไปถึงนางวิสาขา อมราสิการา รองอธิบดีกรมทรัพยากรภายนอกและเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงประจำกรม อีกทั้งนางทิลินี อิหาลาเกอะ อธิบดีกรมเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้และเอเชียกลาง พร้อมด้วยนายบุดดิกา วิมาลาเสนา อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศศรีลังกา และนางวิเรชิก้า บันดาลา เลขานุการเอก ฝ่ายการค้าประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกา ณ กรุงเทพ ล้วนเข้าร่วมการประชุมข้างต้น
