Embassy and permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok Commemorates the 78th Anniversary of Independence
The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok commemorated the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka with an official ceremony held on 4 February 2026 at the Residence of the Ambassador, with the participation of members of the Sri Lankan community, distinguished guests, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and members of the diplomatic corps.
Pirith Chanting Ceremony held in Bangkok Marks Sri Lanka’s 78th Independence Anniversary and invokes blessing for peace, resilience and friendship
The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok held a solemn Pirith chanting ceremony on 03 February 2026 at the Official Residence of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka. The ceremony was organized under the guidance of H E Wijayanthi Edirisighe, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to Thailand and was arranged by the officials of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok.
เมื่อวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นางมิกิโกะ ทานากะ ผู้อำนวยการคณะกรรมาธิการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมสำหรับภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิกแห่งสหประชาชาติประจำสำนักงานภูมิภาค อเชียใต้และเอเชียตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ ณ กรุงนิวเดลี เข้าคาราวะเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาและผู้แทนถาวรประจำประเทศไทย พร้อมทั้งได้หารือในเรื่องของการโอนถ่ายแพลตฟอร์ม “We Sell” แพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ที่จักเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ประกอบการสตรี ในการสนับสนุนธุรกิจผ่านธุรกรรมบนอินเทอร์เน็ตและการตลาดดิจิตอล
ทั้งนี้ รองผู้อำนวยการคณะกรรมาธิการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมสำหรับภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิกแห่งสหประชาชาติประจำสำนักงานภูมิภาคเอเชียใต้และเอเชียตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ นางสามานมาลี เลขานุการเอกและผู้ช่วยกับดูแลงานบริหาร พร้อมทั้ง นางวิเรชิก้า บันดาลา เลขานุการเอก ฝ่ายการค้า ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกา ต่างเข้าร่วมการหารือข้างต้น
