Reflecting the strong partnership and continued engagement between the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) and the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok, ADPC has provided a generous contribution of USD 300,000 in support of disaster relief efforts in Sri Lanka after the destruction caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
The donation was officially handed over today to the Hon. H. M. Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, at the Ministry.
