วันที่ 20 ธันวาคม 2566 เอกอัคคราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำประเทศไทยและผู้แทนถาวรประจำ UNESCAP จมินทะ โกโลนเน และดร.พงศ์ไท ไทโยธิน รองอธิบดีกรมวิชาการเกษตร กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ร่วมหารือและติดตามความคืบหน้าในประเด็นการพิจารณาคำขอเปิดตลาดผลไม้ 5 ชนิด ของศรีลังกา ได้แก่ มะพร้าวไฟผลสด มะขวิด สับปะรด แก้วมังกร พริกสก๊อช์บอนเนต ณ ห้องประชุมผู้บริหาร ชั้น 2 อาคารศูนย์ปฏิบัติการฝึกอบรมและถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี กรมวิชาการเกษตรแห่งประเทศไทย

The 08th Round of Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement (SLTFTA) Negotiations was held from 27-29 November in Bangkok, Thailand. The negotiations were co-chaired by the Director General of the Department of Trade Negotiations and the Chief Negotiator of Thailand, Auramon Supthaweethum and the Chief Negotiator of Sri Lanka, K. J. Weerasinghe.
